Data Visualization

We are developing new software tools for web-based data sharing and visualization.  These tools are especially designed to integrate multi-omic data sets and promote biological discovery.  Though this area is presently developing, if you have strong interest in this subject please let us know.

Data Interpretation

Generating biological insight from database search results typically requires a second round of data processing and or manual data inspection.  This process is confusing and often presents a bottleneck for researchers.  If you are struggling to integrate your data and generate biological insight, perhaps we can assist your research by introducing you to these methods.

  • Gene Ontology
  • KEGG pathway mapping
  • Co-expression analysis
  • Hierarchical clustering
  • Principal components analysis
  • Correlation analysis

Data searching

Tandem mass spectra must be converted to useable data through computer algorithms.  We use a wide variety of these software tools and are happy to teach and share our experiences.
